Today we made dlo’s about what God is to us. There were options, the options were a shepherd, a gardener, a potter and a mother. I chose mother because Jesus cares and loves us and he teaches us what is right and what is wrong just like my mum. This is my DLO about what God is to me.

Today is Holy Thursday. We made a presentation about Holy Week. Holy Week is all about Jesus. It is sometimes happy times or sometimes good times. My favorite time is Easter because Jesus rose from the dead. Good Friday is the most sad time because Jesus died and he sacrificed just so that he can die for our sins. Here is my presentation about Holy Week. 
Today (March 27) we made a DLO of our values, a value is our beliefs, attitude and opinions. opinions are to respect and to support, attitude is what you are feeling like for example I feel joyful right now, and our beliefs are like I believe everyone in the world is good but they don’t show it. This is my DLO.

One intresting fact about her is she founded many schools in New Zealand. She also came to New Zealand in 1872- 1886. Ever since she was a little girl she wanted to be a part of a missionary. She worked at a laundry and even started her own laundry buisness at home at the early age of 17. At the age of 19, she left her country to go to France and join “The Sisters Of The Calvary”. In 1872, she stayed in New Zealand and started schools and orphanages she died in St Ann’s Covent in England during 1893.
Today my class and I learnt about Prophet Isaiah, John the Baptist , Elizabeth John The Baptist’s Mother, Mary the Mother of God and Joseph Jesus’ stepfather. We mostly learnt about John the baptist. John the baptist is Jesus’ cousin. We had to make a DLO about him. This was my DLO. 
Today we learnt about people of advent. We learnt about the prophet Isaiah. We had to make a DLO about him and add some facts about him. My DLO had 4 facts like for example Zion is a major theme in his writing. Prophet Isaiah lived eight hundred years before Jesus Christ that’s why his gospel is read during advent. This was my DLO about Prophet Isaiah. 
Today we have learned about the words Love, Faith and Hope, We have learned that God has a new Commandment it is “Love one another as I have loved you” there are now twelve commandments. Here is my DLO of the word love and the new commandment.
